Each success of every IBA member is another achievement of the network and another opportunity for the Bulgarian global community to expand – to be welcomed not only by Bulgarians but also by foreigners, to develop, to contribute to projects and ideas. How can a territory become a successful brand through its community?
At 18th of January at a ceremony in the presence of the Mayor of the Tour, the Prefect, senators and deputies, directors of large companies and institutions, and many more guests, was launched the new TOURS LOIRE VALLEY brand. Why a brand?
* Because the Tours Loire Valley brand will aim to actively contribute to the development and attractiveness of Tours and the province of Touraine, further increasing its influence. It will be used by all partners, whether public or private, provided they adhere to it; it will rely on its new community, bringing together the Ambassadors of the Tours Loire Valley, which is, of course – everybody who lives here.
The choice of the name “Tours Loire Valley” repositioned Tour as the capital of the entire Loire valley. The brand benefits from the strong international reputation of the Loire valley destination, but also from the more recent use of the expression ‘’Loire valley’’ in the topics of economy and innovations (French Tech Loire Valley, Made in the Loire Valley …).
The Renaissance also inspires Tour and Touraine
Leonardo da Vinci, Copernicus, Columbus, Gutenberg, Michel de Montaigne, Rabelais, Françоis 1 … Five centuries ago, these Renaissance figures made remarkable advances in science, technology, art, and philosophy … They radically changed the world’s ideas and made possible the incredible revival of thought.
Today, the Loire Valley has all the assets to create a different model of life and to be emblematic for a new, modern Renaissance: a moving and exciting ambition, a different way of life and spirit. The spirit of the welcoming territory for its visitors, future entrepreneurs and new inhabitants. The spirit of everyone who dares to change the world and his way of life. The spirit of a territory that creates a community of people who work and move forward together. *

IBA and the event in France.
The guests of the event were extremely impressed by the network, by the community created in IBA – an example for a cause very similar to the one Tours stands for. With the difference that IBA does it on a global level. To cooperate and work together in clearly focused communities is increasingly becoming a successful global model. Aneta Nedyalkova, as Ambassador of Tours, will have the mission to present properly both Bulgaria and the Bulgarian community, united in the IBA.
